Unit Paid Faculty teach additional courses on an as needed basisThe University of Virginia Department of Sociology seeks applications to fill non-tenure track Instructional positions during the 2024-2025 academic year. Teaching load will be a minimum of one, but no more than three, course(s) during the academic year based on need, and at the discretion of the department chair. Preferred areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, gender and/or sexuality, race and/or inequality, and culture. Compensation will take the form of wages. A terminal degree is expected but not required.
