Job description: Responsible for a safe working environment for each person at every moment, for the management of standardized testing FAT, production methods, responsibility to make sure that team members have the right skill sets and the adequate behavior to achieve their goals. A strong understanding of the business and the customer needs. Must build strong, collaborative relationships with the BU and sales.What will you do?

  • Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the Test area, shop floor and warehouse including managing reported incidents and near misses.
  • Enforce compliance with quality system and proper execution of the defined test script, processes, and procedures to meet the required quality level.
  • Responsible for the performance of the test area, FAT, FWT, EFAT and shop floor.
  • Aligns resources with needs within short, medium- & long-term horizon, guarantees training plans for successful execution of standardized work, leads (SIM) short interval management at sector level, formulates / escalates issues where necessary.
  • Work with Sales Engineer analyzing customer test requirements for UPS systems including input and output switchgear, power distribution units (PDUs), for large systems.
  • Manage resources versus customer demand and technical specification to cover all possible customer test specifications and demand.
  • Digital Citizen. Promotes the use of Digital platforms.
  • Be responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well-being.
  • Own your P&L and have the responsibility to activate improvement actions while respecting global policy & strategy (procurement, quality, technical…) to reduce the cost of the offer, translate all actions performed at every level of the cost structure into P&L savings. This includes material cost management, labor in the test area and production, process automation solutions and gross margin. which contribute to Consolidated Standard Cost (CSC) improvements.

What will you do?

  • Bachelor of science, degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing 3 phase test area FWT/FAT or 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience involving electrical power distribution equipment (switchgear, ups).
  • Ability to understand test strategies for electrical and electronic products designed for use in Data Centers, industrial controls, and distribution equipment.
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a multicultural environment across various functions (design engineering, purchasing, quality, marketing, finance, Sales).
  • Facilitator to drive problem solving and troubleshooting activities.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and 6sigma
  • Good knowledge of energy management.
