Employment Type: Full-timeDuties and Responsibilities

  • Collect Employee Time Sheets: Gather daily, weekly, and monthly time sheets from Biometric Attendance.
  • Calculate Employee Hours: Compute hours worked based on an 8-hour workday according to departmental resumption times.
  • Calculate Benefits and Deductions: Determine benefits like daily overtime, weekend incentives, Sunday overtime, monthly special attendance incentives for the production department, and special monthly attendance incentives for thedepartment. Calculate deductions for absenteeism, suspensions, and hour cuts.
  • Prepare Payroll Reports: Generate reports, including PAYE reports for financial year filing and pension reports for annual payroll audits.
  • Distribute Payslips: Issue payment statements/payslips to employees.
  • Respond to Employee Inquiries: Address employee questions about compensation, taxes, benefits, and deductions.
  • Prepare Compensation Checks: Issue terminal pay, final settlements, and handle statutory and voluntary pension remittances using Excel.
  • Ensure Tax Compliance: Ensure that payroll taxes comply with company and state tax regulations.
  • Schedule Payments: Handle electronic payments and distribute paychecks.
  • Update Employee Database: Enter new employee data into the company database.
  • Prepare Allowances and Schedules: Handle staff annual leave allowances, leave recalls, Sunday overtime, monthly incentives, and bank schedules for payment.
  • Maintain Biometric Data: Ensure regular backups of biometric data.
  • Prepare Staff Entitlements: Handle any other staff-related entitlements as requested by management.
  • Journal Entries: Record all payroll-related transactions.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile third-party/contract employee vendor accountsitional
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: 4-8 years in a relevant role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting or a related discipline.

Salary
